Chandra Bhattacharjee
Chandra Bhattacharjee (b.1961). Born in West Bengal Chandra Bhattacharjee graduated from the Indian College of Art and Draughtsmanship.
He has shown in several solo shows since 1994 in Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi. Some of the group shows he has participated in are Art Heritage, New Delhi (1992), Salar Jung Museum, organised by NGMA, Hyderabad (1999), Chitrakoot Gallery. Kolkata (2000), Art World, Hong Kong (2001), Singapore Art Fair, Singapore with Apparao Galleries (2002). Bhattacharjee was also awarded the gold medal from Rabindra Bharati University in 1986.
The artist currently lives and works in Kolkata.
